Black Pepper Corn

It gets its spicy heat from the 'piperine' derived both

from the outer fruit & the seed. Pepper loses flavour

& aroma through evaporation, so it's best to grind

it immediately. It is a common ingredient

in masalas and has a strong flavour

either whole or ground. It acts as a digestive

stimulant. It contains 'piperine' which

increases the absorption of nutrients

like vitamin B, selenium & beta-carotene.
